Jan. 11, 2022

Load Controls Inc., a provider of motor power sensors and controls, announced that Michael (Mike) W. McClurg has been named president, while William (Bill) H. McClurg, co-founder and current president, will begin retirement.

Mike McClurg previously held the chief marketing officer position with the company. His background spans more than 35 years in technology marketing, sales and engineering. He previously held sales management roles at Actifio (acquired by Google), IBM and EMC (acquired by Dell). He holds a bachelors in engineering design from Tufts University and an MBA from Babson College.

"I'm excited to be able to help write the next chapter in Load Controls' history. We have a fantastic, loyal customer base and the industry's most complete line of motor power sensors and controls. With more attention being paid to energy awareness and the opportunity to make industrial motors more efficient, our future is very bright," Mike McClurg said.

Bill McClurg founded the company in 1984 with Bob Nystrom. He pioneered the business by applying power sensing technology to industry challenges in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, discrete manufacturing, and chemical processing industries.
