The Safegate muting light barrier protects personnel working in applications such as palletizing, wrapping and conveying. Muting sensors, muting control and muting logic are built directly into the light barrier. In hardware-configurable models, the muting logic and parameters are configured via the main connector wiring, while the programable models allow configuration via Safegate configuration software (SCS). Each light barrier can be configured for exit only or for entry/exit, meeting and exceeding all applicable safety standards. Configuration can be changed at any time; sensors can be upgraded, added or removed; and photocell and sensor mounting brackets help to meet the demands of complicated applications.
