ONBOARD SAFETYThe Sinamics S110 single-axis ac servo drive is built on the Sinamics S120 drives platform. Designed for simple positioning or indexing applications with synchronous or induction motors, the drive operates in the 0.12-90 kW power range. Profibus, Profinet (in preparation), CANopen or analog/digital interfaces allow the Sinamics S110 to be integrated into the Simatic automation system and other controllers. The S110 has seven onboard safety functions that are controlled via three safe inputs and one safe output.
