Version 4.1 of HexSight software for high-accuracy recognition and metrology adds support for color image processing and hardware acceleration and now supports Sony intelligent cameras. HexSight’s geometric pattern recognition technology has contour-based identification of objects unaffected by scale, orientation, lighting, occlusion, clutter, contrast reversal, or even subtle color variation. It supports a wide range of third party camera and frame grabbers, and adds support for fully compliant GigE vision cameras.
