LC 200 linear encoder, now available with a Fanuc interface, measures lengths of up to 28 meters, such as ensuring that the absolute position value is available immediately upon switch on. Due to the design and use of a smaller scanning unit with increased rigidity in measuring direction, the LC 200 is especially useful in high-speed machining applications using linear motors.
