Kistler North America's Single-Wire, Mold-Cavity Pressure Sensors

For use with Kistler’s single-wire mold-cavity pressure sensors, single-channel Type 1712A and four-channel Type 1714 provide electrical connection for each installed element between cables in different mold components. During mold assembly, the cables are connected via the contacts of both elements, allowing for the connection of the single-wire sensor between a mold insert and its frame or mold plate. These elements allow for quick injection mold insert and mold module plate exchanges of up to four sensors simultaneously, without sensor dismount or removal.
