These stainless steel ac induction motors are designed for use in frequent wetting and washdown environments. The waterproof motors are available from 0.5 to 20 hp and in nine frame sizes: 56, 143, 145, 182, 184, 213, 215, 254 and 256. Typical applications include food processing, chemical and drug manufacturing and machine tools. The addition of pressure compensation devices allow the motors to be used deep-sea and marine applications. Features include an integrated design and solution, corrosion resistance, integral housing seals, a double-sealed cable entry and an oil-filled motor.
