The UNIK 5000 pressure-sensing platform now carries the Brazilian Inmetro and the Chinese NEPSI intrinsic safety certifications. As a result, the sensors now can be used throughout these countries in hazardous-zone applications in the oil and gas and process industries, as well as in power generation and mining. These sensors also carry FM, FMc and IECEx/ATEX approvals. They are available in pressures from 70 mbar (1 psi) to 700 bar (10,000 psi) and in three grades of performance: industrial, improved and premium.
