Optical incremental encoders are small-diameter and low-profile devices that offer high resolutions and multichannel outputs

The E30C and E30D optical incremental encoders are small-diameter and low-profile devices that offer high resolutions and multichannel outputs. The encoders are available in 64 configurations. The modular encoder package is 30 mm x 8 mm with alternate mounting arrangements. Connections are provided through a locking radial or optional axial connector. The encoders operate from -20 to 85 °C and weigh 5.6 g. They are available in kit form and adapt to many of the company’s motors. Prototype encoders also are available.
