The LP series of heavy-duty rotary encoders provides precise motion control feedback in a compact, low-profile encoder package for harsh applications. The product family is built to withstand extreme temperatures, shock and vibration, as well as wet and dirty environments. Three encoder types are available in incremental or absolute single-turn outputs: a compact version with cable or connector terminations, a terminal box option and an explosion-proof model. The encoder design provides an ingress protection rating of IP66 and protects the internal components from exposure to the elements, making these encoders suitable for dirty and dusty outdoor applications.
