The 600-rpm versions of the PremiumPlus+ electronically commutated permanent magnet (ECPM) motors are available from 0.75 to 3 hp. These versions are suitable for directly driving larger-diameter fans at low speeds. The product can reduce motor losses (wasted energy) by as much as 50%, reduces overall energy usage by 4 to 20% depending on operating speed and has lower current requirements (FLA) than ac induction motor alternatives. The motor is produced in standard NEMA frame sizes.
