The 35-A iJA series of point-of-load nonisolated dc-dc converters are PMBus-compliant and feature digital control. Operating from an 8- to 14-Vdc input, the series can provide output voltages from 0.6 to 3.3 V, with a precision setpoint accuracy of 1%. The surface-mount converters occupy 0.45 sq-in of board space. Overall dimensions are 22.9 mm x 12.7 mm x 9.7 mm. Optimization of components using digital control enables a high current output in high-temperature, low-airflow environments. The power module has a typical efficiency of 94% with a 3.3-V output, 12-V input and 80% loading.
