These Idem LPF and SPF series non-contact safety switches employ RFID communication between switch and actuator to provide tamper-proof protection using both master and unique coded actuators. When used in combination with a dual-channel safety relay, the switches can help provide protection up to Cat. 4 and PL e to ISO13849-1. The IP69K-rated products operate with most safety relays and feature plastic housings, wide sensing distances (>10 mm) and a high tolerance to misalignment after sensing. With switching capability up to 0.2 A, models are available in unique- and master-coded styles with 2-, 5- or 10-m pigtail cables or a 250-mm quick-disconnect cable.
