The Vacon 20 ac drive offers a compact size and wide power range, combined with built-in, flexible PLC functionality. Suitable for packaging machine applications, the drive is available in all common voltages (110 to 600 V) and with a power range up to 18.5 kW/25 hp. It has a built-in RS-485 interface and with optional modules can be connected to almost any communication system including CANOpen, fieldbus, DeviceNet and Profibus DP. Also included are easy-access terminals, built-in DIN-rail mounting and the MCA parameter-copying tool, which can clone settings without main power in the drive. These features help to reduce start-up time.
