The S6 drive is designed to operate in high-performance servo applications. The drive provides real-time communication, SIL3 safety functionality and integrated brake control. The compact drive offers power in a range of performance levels from 0.75 to 5.5 kW with a rated switching frequency of 8 kHz. It can provide velocity, position, torque or homing control to a variety of motors, including induction, PM servo, linear or torque. For applications in which fast communication is critical, the drive comes with EtherCAT communication on board as standard. Additional optional interfaces include Powerlink, Profinet IRT and VARAN. All units also include a CAN interface.
