The Motor-CAD EMag module is an ultra-fast 2D-FEA-based module for electric motor magnetic performance simulations. It provides a range of motor type templates that include brushless permanent magnet (inner and outer rotor), synchronous and three-phase induction machines. The software includes automatic and customizable winding design with a comprehensive visual editor. The programs FEA solver has been optimized specifically to provide ultra-fast results. The module uses a comprehensive magnetic materials database and editor and includes a range of electronic drive options. The visual projections include diagrams, maps and models. The Motor-CAD EMag module seamlessly interfaces to the Motor-CAD Therm and Motor-CAD Lab modules.
