The Pressure Scout intrinsically safe wireless pressure sensor supports pressure monitoring and alarm reporting as part of the SignalFire remote sensing system. The product consists of a pressure sensor integrated with a wireless node and internal battery and is an alternative to conduit-wired or other wireless pressure monitoring solutions. The sensor provides a long-range (up to ½ mi) transmission to the SignalFire gateway, where pressure data becomes available via a Modbus RTU or TCP interface. Available in standard pressure ranges, the device performs 5-s pressure sampling with configurable alarm reporting (report by exception). Units offer local push button-zeroing. The sensor is operable in temperature ranges from -40 to 80 ºC.
