ThinGap Brushless high-torque-density motor

The LSI 105 brushless torque motor model is 105 mm (4.125 in) OD and 25.4 mm (1 in) long. Continuous torque reaches over 2 Nm (283 oz-in) in typical applications. The LS torque motor's family of zero-cogging performance is embedded in a frameless configuration. It is combined with large-ID through-bores designed to allow easy assembly into OEM motion products. The motor exhibits low torque ripple (less than -1%). The efficient potted winding and thermally conductive structure offers heat transfer in enclosed places and works well with active cooling systems such as cooling loops or oil-filled assemblies.
