FlexSys ATE scalable, integrated test and measurement systems offer configuration flexibility and allow users to choose instrumentation and switching options. Manufacturers with multiple production facilities that standardize on the FlexSys automated test core can reduce development costs by reusing common code. Flexible modular core software and hardware architecture are designed to scale economically to accommodate changing test requirements. The hardware includes compact mainframes and high-density plug-in modules. A 16-slot LXI mainframe supports multi-channel scanning to an optional 6½-digit DMM and high-voltage switching and analog outputs. For data-intensive applications, an optional nine-slot PXI Express hybrid chassis offers 8 GB/s system throughput.
