The mapp Crane solution dampens the effect of uncontrollable sustained oscillations that occur when cranes transporting payloads suspended from sling systems become sensitive to rotation about the vertical axis. It also allows for execution of a controlled rotation—helpful in cases in which a payload needs to be positioned at a specific angle. With simultaneous control of both skew and sway, payloads can be brought to their destinations with speed and precision. The solution also offers automatic path correction, which adjusts for changes to the end position while the crane is in motion.
