The Allen-Bradley GuardShield 450L safety light curtain system enhances robotic work cell and other hazardous equipment safety through transceiver technology. Its compact design and full-length protective field make it easy to integrate the system in hand and finger protection applications from 5.9 in (150 mm) up to 76.7 in (1,950 mm) in increments of 0.5 ft (150 mm). After startup, users can leverage such features and functionality as cascading, built-in muting and blanking. The muting and blanking functions are set up through DIP switches located on the dedicated plug-in modules.
