TrendMiner 2017 R2, a self-service industrial analytics software, introduces a recommendation engine that can suggest tags that may be relevant to data analysis, including influence factors in upstream process sections with potentially significant time delays. Users can examine a process anomaly of interest, search for more instances of similar behaviors and have the software generate hypotheses for diagnostics based on all selected occurrences. It also offers integration with OSIsoft PI Asset Framework (PI AF), allowing users to choose between TrendMiner’s internal Asset Framework and PI AF as an external provider. In addition, it supports scaling out across business units from single sites to enterprise level.
