The HA spool sensing valve product provides sensing and feedback capability to pneumatic control circuits when using the H series ISO valve manifold. A solid-state sensor detects spool position within the valve and is available in PNP or NPN switching outputs for single channel feedback to a PLC. Monitoring at the PLC allows sensing to become an integrated part of a safety circuit (single channel) where redundancy or feedback is required. The product is not a certified safety component to The Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; however, with proper integration, it is suitable for use in safety circuits following safety-related parts of control systems (SRP/CS) to EN ISO 13849-1 standards.
