PI North America names new board members

Halterman, Wolowec and Raithel bring fresh perspectives and experience with industrial networks and systems
PI North America announced three new members to its board of directors, including Darrell Halterman, Victor Wolowec and Bernd Raithel. Each new board member brings a fresh perspective and wealth of experience with industrial networks and systems that will help shape long-term strategy and the future of PI North America.
 
PI North America is dedicated to helping manufacturers achieve beneficial results using its technologies. As a non-profit, member-supported organization, PI North America supports its membership with a range of services such as joint marketing projects, road shows, training classes, product certification, strategy sessions and webinars.  Its members include vendors of hardware, software and systems, as well as end-users and operators, scientific institutes, universities, distributors and system integrators.
 
 
Darrell Halterman is the director of PACSystems Controls and Compute for Emerson’s Controls & Software business unit.
 
Victor Wolowec is national distribution channel sales manager at Hilscher North America since 2012. He has spent most of his career in industrial automation, but his passion is in creating results-oriented organizations that thrive. Starting from the ground up, Wolowec built an extensive North American distribution channel for Hilscher’s end-user products including gateways and PC cards.
 
Bernd Raithel is the director of product management & marketing and deployment of new technologies in the Factory Automation business unit of Siemens Industry. He has more than 19 years of experience with Siemens in factory automation, creating products designed to help improve production and machines.
