The agreement will increase the availability of products in North America, such as the Feed Through connector range.
Cliff Electronics has established a distribution agreement with Newark Element14, which will increase the availability of its products in North America, such as the Feed Through connector range.
“Our relationship with Farnell Element14 dates from the 1970s,” said Dan Walker, distribution sales manager at Cliff Electronics. “And Cliff is proud to partner with their sister company Newark E14 for this USA agreement for Cliff products. Newark’s business model is focused on the penetration of new markets and large sales area coverage. This will greatly increase our sales and better serve our USA customers’ growing need for panel mounted data connectors.”
According to Cliff Electronics, two advantages of the FT Series are:
A true feed-through connection, allowing standard cabling to be used to connect at both front and rear, eliminating the need to solder or terminate the connections, simplifying and speeding up assembly.
The ability to be front or rear mounted on to control panels, giving designers maximum flexibility over panel layout and functionality
“Newark Element14 is proud to stock Cliff’s extensive range of FT Series Panel Mount Connectors in North America," said Robert Toenies, Newark Element14 product manager. "These high quality, high performance connectors are used in a wide array of industrial applications and are a strong complement to our industry-leading industrial connector product portfolio.”
