TASI HOLDINGS INC. has announced it has completed the acquisition of all shares of SignalFire Telemetry. According to TASI, this new acquisition is strategic to the growth model of TASI, and adds a new wireless communication component to TASI’s global FLOW division.

Founded in 2006, SignalFire designs and manufactures specialized wireless mesh networking systems for uses in challenging and hazardous locations. The majority of the company’s products are wireless sensor networks deployed in upstream oil and gas fields.

“We are pleased to welcome the SignalFire team to the TASI Group and the TASI Flow Division,” said John McKenna, CEO of the TASI Group. “The prospect of integrating this cutting-edge wireless networking technology with our flow measurement instrumentation brings another component of our Well Pad Automation strategy to our growing portfolio.”

TASI Flow brands consist of TRICOR Coriolis, AW Gear Meters, KEM-Küppers, Litre Meter, and Vögtlin Thermal Mass Flow Meters and Controllers.

“We are very pleased to be part of the TASI family,” stated Al Hamilton, SignalFire’s president.  “It is a great fit, TASI is no stranger to the oil and gas business with its strong portfolio of flow products. By joining TASI we enhance our upstream oil and gas focus while at the same time have the resources to diversify our customer base. This is a good day for our employees and shareholders as we are joining up with a great team.”
