igus Is Giving Away Free Cable Carrier and Continuous-Flex Cable Samples

igus Inc. announced it is giving away free cable carrier and continuous-flex cable samples as part of its  Sample Test Drive Program.

The program is aimed at those who want to evaluate the performance of igus’ products before purchasing. It includes a free technical consultation with igus over the phone or on-site so that the optimal cable carrier or continuous-flex cable can be specified.

The complimentary tests focus on push/pull forces, coefficients of friction, wear rates, drive forces and speeds under a wide range of demanding conditions.

igus has always offered free samples, but developed the new test drive concept to underline its confidence in and commitment to developing products which meet and exceed customer expectations.

“We want machine builders to find out first hand why companies are switching to igus,” said Joe Ciringione, North American Sales and Product Manager for igus’ Energy Chain Systems Division, “If you test one of our cable carriers or continuous-flex cables on your prototype machine and you like it, you keep it—absolutely free! It’s that simple.”
