Microprecision Electronics acquired Wilbrecht Electronics’ LEDCO Division to provide U.S.-made LED assemblies, metal foil resistors, microswitches and sealed position switches. The Wilbrecht LEDCO division includes sales offices in St. Paul, Minn., and the QPL-certified factory in Huron, S.D. The new entity will operate as a Microprecision subsidiary under the name Wilbrecht LEDCO.
A Swiss-based manufacturer of custom microswitches and sealed position switches, Microprecision Electronics was founded in 1956 and began as a manufacturer and supplier of precision parts for the Swiss watch industry.
