Robert Bosch GmbH and subsidiary Bosch Sensortec have become a contributor member of the MIPI Alliance, a nonprofit that develops interface specifications with more than 275 member companies.
By joining the MIPI Alliance, Bosch Sensortec will have access to the established standards for hardware and software interfaces in mobile devices, and will be able to contribute to the development of interface specifications. According to a Bosch press release, its portfolio of Micro-Electro-Mechanical systems sensors and solutions is optimized for smartphones, tablets, wearable devices and Internet of Things apps.
