JMP Engineering acquired Robust Controls. According to JMP, the move is meant to better serve and support its customer base in Texas. Robust Controls is a controls and systems integration company providing engineering services in Dallas and the surrounding area.
According to both companies, the strategy behind the pairing is to expand solution offerings and technology migrations for customers in specific industry segments including semiconductor, oil & gas, water/wastewater and consumer product goods manufacturing. Also, it will expand geographic reach and combine engineering resources to execute larger process automation, control system, information, MES (manufacturing execution system) and smart robotic projects.
"I am very excited to have Robust Controls join the JMP team for numerous reasons, including their employees having a wealth of application knowledge and industry experience to solve our customers' toughest automation and production problems," said Scott Shawyer, president and CEO of JMP. "I look forward to seeing our teams come together and our combined capabilities generate even greater customer success."
"As Robust Controls continues to grow, I could not be more excited to bring our teams together," said Reddy Arimanda, president of Robust Controls. "Joining JMP will help us to expand our geographical reach, and we will be able to utilize JMP’s organizational size and scale to help to solve our customer’s challenges."
