Justrite acquires West Virginia-based Eagle Manufacturing Company

Eagle will continue to sell Eagle-branded products with its president Joe Eddy now becoming an executive vice president in the Justrite Safety Group, leading the North American chemical safety business.

Justrite Safety Group has announced the acquisition of Eagle Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of safety cans, safety cabinets, spill containment products, poly drums and material handling products. Established in 1894 and based in Wellsburg, West Virgina, Eagle has experience in industrial safety and material handling products.

"The acquisition of Eagle by Justrite Safety Group further demonstrates our business strategy to better serve our customers within the industrial safety, environmental, and material handling product sector of the global market," said Mark McElhinny, Justrite president and CEO.

"Eagle's advanced manufacturing and skilled craftsmanship will integrate seamlessly into our distribution and engineered solution sales channels."

Eddy has been named an executive vice president in the Justrite Safety Group, leading the North American chemical safety business, which will include the Justrite operation in Mattoon, Illinois.
