The extended line of XX ultrasonic sensor wide-range models includes detection ranges of 3 m with a wider beam in a Ø54 cylindrical format. Ultrasonic technology is not affected adversely by the type of material to be detected, the color or shape of the detection target or the environmental conditions during detection. Suitable for detecting mobile equipment obstacles and other applications, ultrasonic sensing is based on the detection of a high-frequency ultrasonic wave reflected by the detection target. The sensors come in an anti-UV plastic housing and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to 70 °C. They are E2-certified for mobile equipment.
