The TMZ PC-programmable Modbus transmitter with dual universal input channels accepts most industry-standard current, voltage or voltage signals. It allows users to increase measurement density by doubling monitoring capability in a single unit. The digital Modbus output also reduces errors inherent on analog 4-20mA output transmitters because of their required D/A conversion. This enables the Modbus host system to read and record more accurate and repeatable process variable signals. Users can configure each universal input for any thermocouple, RTD, potentiometer, ohms, millivolt, mA or voltage signal with the company’s PC program.
