Turck’s line of general-purpose inductive proximity sensors are designed to offer contactless metal detection used in diverse positioning applications. Its patented uprox technology senses metals like iron, stainless steel, copper, aluminum and brass. Providing a sensing range from 0.8 mm up to 100 mm, these sensors also come in extended temperature ranges from -40 to +250 °C (-40 — +482 °F). They are available in a variety of styles including metallic and non-metallic bodies, shielded and not shielded, embeddable and non-embeddable barrels and rectangular.
