AutomationDirect adds Ethernet PLCs to CLICK line

AutomationDirect has added Ethernet basic and standard PLCs to the CLICK line. According to AutomationDirect, the new PLCs are 3 to 10 times faster than the existing CLICK PLCs and are 100 percent upward compatible with the existing CLICK units. With 8 input points and 6 output points built in, CLICK Ethernet PLC units are available with 24 VDC or 120 VAC inputs and DC or relay outputs and can be used as a complete PLC system. Ethernet Basic PLC units and Ethernet Standard PLC units feature one built-in 10/100 Mbps Ethernet communications port for both programming and Modbus TCP networking, plus one standard RS-232 serial communications port; Ethernet Standard PLC units add an RS-485 port.
