This line of ATEX plastic and nickel-plated cable glands is designed to handle explosive situations. The Maxiblock and Maxibrass cable glands meet IP65 protection standards and safety level Ex e IIC/ Ex tb IIIC according to EN 60079-0:2009, EN 60079-7:2007 and EN 60079-31:2009. They can be used in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. These hazardous-duty cable glands have metric threads with a 1.5 pitch and are available in standard and extended thread lengths. Multi-entry neoprene seal inserts keep multiple cables threaded through the cable gland separate and prevents bunching. This method helps to provide integrity along the electrical circuit.
