Novotechnik U.S. Multiturn rotary sensors with a clutch

The ML series multiturn rotary sensors feature a friction clutch instead of the end-stops typically found on mechanical multiturn sensors. The clutch produces a click sound to let users know they have reached end-of-range and permits continued turn past end-scale. The compact sensors have a ½-in square profile. Other specifications include models with 6, 10, 25, 50 or 100 turns; bushing mounting; and sealing to IP65. Life is >15 million turns. Linearity is to ±0.25% of full scale range. Resolution is better than 0.1% with repeatability of ≤0.17%.
