The FX and EX series PLCs are equipped with built-in and expandable I/O. These Class I, Div. 2 PLCs offer digital and analog I/O and support high-speed counters and pulse width modulation (PWM). Analog modules support several voltage and current modes as well as connection to RTD and thermocouple sensors to measure temperature. The PLCs use the same configuration software as Maple’s HMI + PLC products, so users can program the HMI and PLC using the same software in either native ladder logic or IEC61131-3 programming languages. The PLCs also support Modbus RTU (serial) and Modbus TCP/IP (Ethernet models only).
