The R-BOX field-mount enclosure for DIN rail-mount instruments provides users with outdoor housing suitable for intrinsically safe, non-incendive and general location applications. Designed to meet Type 4X & IP66 ratings, the enclosure is watertight and resistant to the harmful effects of heat, ultraviolet rays and certain chemicals. A clear polycarbonate cover allows operators to monitor instruments without opening the enclosure. To prevent accidental exposure or tampering, the enclosure is equipped with a front-mounted security lock. It is available in four off-the-shelf sizes (3, 6, 9 and 12 in); all sizes install easily on a panel, surface or 2-in pipe.
