The HT-1000 series of extreme high-temperature linear position sensors are ac-operated LVDTs constructed of materials that can withstand temperatures up to 1,000 °F (538 °C). They provide a ratiometric output for reduced thermal error that results in an extremely low thermal sensitivity over a wide temperature range. In addition to offering linearity of ±0.5% of full range, the LVDTs offers unlimited mechanical and electrical life as well as high reliability resulting from the absence of friction and contact between the core and coil. The sensors are available in ranges from ±0.500 in (±12.7 mm) to ±1.0 in (±25.4mm).
