The UC-F77 sensor is 31 mm high and has a detection range of up to 800 mm. Configuration can be carried out on the device itself or with the parameterization software PACTware. The sound beam width can be calibrated based on the application at hand and suppresses false targets. The sensor provides an automatic synchronization feature. The ultrasonic pulses of as many as 10 sensors can be coordinated without any external intervention, and the devices can be operated in proximity to each other. An IO-Link interface allows access to diagnostic data and additional communication options. Multiple sensors can be linked mechanically.
