EZWifi enables the connection of EZAutomation devices even if in an inaccessible location, giving users direct control from a computer connected over WiFi.
EZWiFi is equipped with two wireless modes: āInfrastructure Modeā, which connects any laptop to the device as long as they are on the internal network. As well asĀ āAdHoc,ā which does not require any access point or router and instead establishes its own to allow communication between EZWiFi and a PC.
Each WiFi module is individually programmed with a unique SSID and password. These are also programmable through the respective EZAutomation software if the password to the project is known.
EZWiFi supports 802.11 b/g/n protocols.Ā It is powered with either 24VDC or 2AA Batteries. Software Security formats include WPA/WPA2, with Encryption WEP/TKIP/AES.Ā Network Protocols supported are IPv4, TCP/UDP/HTTP/FTP.Ā EZWiFi is also FCC certified.
