Firmware versions 3.4 for the groov EPIC edge programmable industrial controller and firmware version 3.4 for the RIO edge I/O module add more capabilities for sharing OT data with SCADA systems, databases, HMIs and historians, and with other functions such as quality and process. The latest data democratization capabilities include an additional, embedded OPC UA server and more flexibility in MQTT services. The release also adds support for SNMP and the Scratch Pad memory map area. With the PAC Control and I/O OPC UA server on board, both EPIC and RIO offer this platform-independent way to exchange data among devices and software within your OT network.
