Link Scout adapts wirelessly to loop-powered 4-20mA HART instruments for HART connectivity with asset management software such as Pactware and FieldCare. By tunneling HART traffic over the 900-MHz platform, the adapter allows maintenance personnel to configure, calibrate and troubleshoot assets equipped with a HART-enabled instrument using DTM software. It can get additional measured variables into a control system. The SignalFire gateway receiving the data from the HART field instrument can be integrated into a control system using the receiving gateway’s built-in Modbus or available 4-20mA outputs. It can be installed on a live instrument while in service and retrofit during normal plant operations.
