Soft NA is part of the Sysmac solution. It allows the full functionality of the NA5 HMI on an industrial PC (IPC) that also can run enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing execution system (MES) or other software. Soft NA can replace a separate IPC and HMI when HMI machine control and computer power both are needed. It is supported by the company’s NY IPC line, which is designed for the factory floor and serves as the host for a variety of software.
