These switch-rated plugs and receptacles combine the safety of a switch with the convenience of a plug and receptacle in a single device. Spring-loaded silver-nickel butt contacts, push-button disconnection, enclosed arc chambers and dead-front construction with safety shutter provide enhanced user safety, code compliance and operating cost benefits compared to pin and sleeve devices. The devices are UL- and CSA-listed and rated to 200 A, 600 Vac, 100 hp and Type 4X/IP69K.
