The updated housing design of the revos Basic series rectangular connectors increases corrosion resistance, extending the number and type of applications they can be used in, such as harsh-environment applications. Integral insulation in the housing means that they accept all revos Basic inserts and reduces the number of variants. The housings are available with plain threads or strain-relief cable glands for environmental sealing against dust, water ingress, and direct spray. Standard versions of the connectors provide IP54- and IP65-rated environmental protection.
