Fourth-generation Tripleshield CA18CA capacitive proximity sensors offer immunity to dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference. The series is designed for harsh environments, providing IP67 and IP69K protection and ECOLAB approval for chemical resistance. An optional dust alarm output provides an early warning of accumulation on the sensor’s face, which can withstand temperatures up to 248 ºF (120 °C). An optional temperature alarm output warns if the sensing face surface exceeds 140 ºF (60 °C). The sensors are suitable for plastics, agriculture, pellet-burning stoves, packaging, material handling and food and beverage.
