Rockwell Automation's Bulletin 1692 Electronic Circuit Protection

ECP module provides solid-state protection for secondary circuits of 24 Vdc, switch-mode power supplies.
Dec. 19, 2013

Bulletin 1692 electronic circuit protection (ECP) module provides solid-state protection for secondary circuits of 24 Vdc, switch-mode power supplies. Faster than the self-protection of the power supply, this module is designed to accommodate inductive and capacitance loads, while helping prevent nuisance trips. The module monitors input voltage and limits current. It distributes the current of a large power source to four output channels, providing protection and current limiting for loads and wiring for each channel. Its second function is to monitor input voltage, permitting limited current on each output channel, so circuit voltage doesn’t fall below the threshold of 21 V.
