EMD-BL (basic line) monitoring relays are available for single-phase current monitoring, single-phase voltage monitoring, three-phase voltage monitoring and phase monitoring. Unlike the existing EMD-FL and EMD-SL relays, each BL relay provides only a single function, so installers do not have to pay extra for features they don't need. The BL relays have a 17.55-mm-wide housing, compared with 22.5-mm in the multi-function devices, saving valuable cabinet space.
